This is a very high end dining experience in a remote and dramatic location. The creativity, visual presentation and flavours are among the best I’ve experienced in Sydney. The service can be a little haphazard but the food and the location more than compensate! Go for lunch.

The degustation 8 courses (and vegetarian 5 courses) were amazing. We went during Summer so the menu was fresh and light. They use a lot of native ingredients which is always exciting to try. We also stayed 2 nights at the inn and the studio room was still spacious and the setup was quite relaxing. But the views and serene sounds of the river were the highlight of each morning and evening. Thank you to Ally and Shane and the team for making us most welcome! 🤗

WOW! What an amazing experience. A very tranquil location. My wife and I booked a degustation for our wedding anniversary at Cottage Point Inn and absolutely loved it. The waiters were very attentive and the food was amazing. We highly recommend it. Thank you. Marco.

We booked the smaller apartment for 2 nights at $550 per night. At that price we were disappointed that there was no hanging or storage space, no mirror, no clear flat surfaces to put anything down, very badly placed power points. We had to …

My husband and I dined here for the second time recently. We had the five course degustation menu. The waiter offered us oysters to start (in addition) but failed to inform us that 12 oysters was over $100. The portions were tasty, but very small so we were not full by the time we finished the meal. Unfortunately when I got home I was sick and my husband was not feeling the best either. I contacted the restaurant twice but did not receive a response. Evidently no one wants to spend $700 on a meal to only throw it up later!

10 of us arrived by boat to enjoy the 8 course ($200 a head) degustation menu. Of the 8 courses only one was disappointing the other 7 were excellent. The excellent food and waitstaff service was sadly spoilt when we realised, upon receiving the bill, that we had been charged $30 for still water. Who charges for still water?!?! Well the Cottage Point Inn does.

Had a lovely lunch. Food was amazing & the spacing between each course was lovely. Was surprised to be charged for what we thought was a complimentary spritz drink, the waiter said 'we would like to offer you a spritz drink today' he explained what it was & of course we said yes thinking it was complimentary, the bill said otherwise.
